We are a breeder family based in Caseyville, IL. We have been raising this beautiful breed in our family for the past 15 years, from the comfort of our home so that they are accustomed to human touch and kisses as they grow. The West Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the Westie, is known for its luxurious white coat, compact body and curious personality. Westies are energetic, fun loving, little dogs that get along well with children and other dogs.
The breed originated in the rocky regions of Scotland where they were bred to hunt badgers, foxes and other vermin. The propensity to hunt such prey is still evident in the breed today.
Westies are medium-sized terriers, although with longer legs than other Scottish breeds of terrier. Westies are proud little dogs who strut along with their heads held high and their little tails straight and wagging, showing off their Scottish heritage. These sturdy little pups make fantastic, loyal companions. They are non-shedding and non-allergenic. Grooming is quite simple!
Our Westies look forward to our grandchildren’s visits as they know there are fun filled times ahead, playing ball or just hanging out with the kids.
Our Sires and Dams are carefully chosen so their offspring will inherit good temperament.
