Chester is without a doubt one (of the) best dogs anyone could ever ask for. Period. Hands down. We are first time Westie owners, and it has been quite a ride with our big guy! From the moment we picked up “Chester” from his litter to when we thought he would never stop growing and up until now, it has been an incredible journey with the sweetest. most lovable dog ever.
He has a happy go lucky personality that wins over even the grouchiest of grouches, he’s always in a good mood, and tons of fun to play with especially when he starts crawling down low like a ninja and tries to sneak up on you. Yes, he really does think that you can’t see him! He also loves his naps too though and will carefully place and stretch out all his blankets before laying down to snooze on his back. He is a funny, funny guy and we can’t imagine not having him as part of our family.

Our sweet Troy was the perfect addition to our family. In the 16 weeks we have had him, he has been on a dozen road trips, visited multiple places and has acted like he’s been doing this for years. I’m glad we decided to do the crate training option. Troy has been at ease in his crate from day 1. He sleeps in there even when he’s not locked in. We didn’t go through the rough stages of crate training as I’ve experienced in the past with long nights of whining and barking. We continued the routine they had established with him and the transition into our home was smooth. He has not had any accidents in the crate and just 2 in the house, which one was totally my fault(not as fast as I once was). Troy was sleeping through the night by 10 weeks of age. At 13 weeks of age, Troy walks quietly on the leash and has been eager to learn basic commands. He truly is the most laid back puppy I’ve ever owned and I’ve received numerous compliments on his behavior and personality.
I highly recommend Westie Haven. I spent a lot of time researching Westie breeders for over a year trying to find the perfect one. Even after i found Troy, I keep finding myself back on the website- really just stalking for any updates on upcoming litters, desperately wanting another one.

I have had 6 Westies over the years and at one point bred them, so I have experienced many different breeders. Westies Haven’s breeding is by far the most comprehensive and heartfelt breeding of Westies I have ever experienced. They do all the screening and health testing that it is extremely important for the longevity and health of your dog. Our first meeting with the puppies cannot be explained with words, this little puff of white just would not leave us alone, and we both knew she was the one. I have always had Westies with fallen ears. Lassie has the best Angelic ears I have ever felt. She goes everywhere with us, and all the time we spend with her truly shows in all she has learned. To top off the whole experience, they had a puppy reunion with all the new puppy owners at their home.
